Workspace Monitoring Agent

The Workspace Monitoring Agent runs in the background. It watches your pipelines and their errors, tries to resolve problems on its own, and lets you know when it cannot.

Pipeline failures

The agent observes every pipeline run. When a run fails, it tries to fix the failure before involving you. That includes failures from data quality checks and failures from technical issues. It also keeps metrics on the pipelines that run, so you can see how they are performing.

If the agent can resolve the problem, the pipeline continues without you stepping in. If it cannot, it raises an alert. The alert includes the agent's own understanding of the error, not only the raw failure. You can still review runs, failure reasons, and retries on the dashboard.

Your account

The agent also watches the account around those pipelines. It keeps an eye on usability and audits, along with the rest of the account activity, so issues with how the workspace is being used surface along with pipeline failures.
